Our tasks:

The minister of Prime Minister’s Office charged the Directorate for Cultural Heritage Protection of Lechner Knowledge Centre Non-profit Ltd. with the task of public financing related project management. The minister’s tasks include building regulation and building authority issues, the cultural heritage protection, urban development, spatial planning, as well as related public financing matters.
In this framework, in the given financial year the directorate carries out the project management tasks, based on the agreement with the Prime Minister’s Office. The tasks include the management of public financing aimed at cultural heritage protection, the execution of project management agreement, and the administration of the funds for project management tasks.


With reference to the legal titles, listed in the agreement, the responsibilities of the Lechner Knowledge Centre Non-profit Ltd. include the dissemination and communication tasks related to the financing. Subsequent to that, the Centre also carries out the reception, registration, formal, substantive and expert supervision of the approved applications. Furthermore, it performs the legal and financial control, the processing of the applications and the verification of the applicants’ entitlement. Following the preliminary professional approval of the State Secretary and the Deputy State Secretary for Architecture and Construction of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Centre deals with the following issues: concludes grant contracts, issues grant decisions, controls submitted settlements of accounts, puts the budget reports in order, accepts performance.
