Project duration: 01/07/2012-30/06/2015
Short description of project:
The aim of the project was to create a personal data and address register in Hungary, thus significantly facilitating the administrative processes. Following the completion of the process, various overlapping address databases used in the administration were replaced by this newly established unified register, which resulted in tangible benefits in day-to-day administration.
As the first step of the project, address data in the personal data and address register, the real estate register and the postal address register were surveyed, supplemented and cleaned, and on-site surveys were also carried out to produce the most complete Hungarian address database possible. In parallel, the address register system was established, and a connection was developed between the address register, the personal data and address register, and the real estate register.
