Short description of project:

The Hungarian unified land registration system, as vital part of the national basic data structure, reached a level of service that has a promising future. The land registry is a place of work for digitalization: a significant part of the case management consists of typical procedures, there is a large amount of transactions and the data are also available in electronic form. The first step is to create an opportunity to access land office data through the digital gateway. In other words: to establish a non-stop electronic service system (with its popular name “TakarNet24”) for this purpose.

As a result of the project, a new data provision system of the land department was implemented, which ensures the wide availability of the most frequently requested land data. One of the main objectives of the project was to make electronic land registry services, ie. the land registry online, available to private individuals on the internet through the digital gateway (customer portal) on the Hungarian government’s official portal. The latest user-friendly interface was developed in connection with the customer portal service of the government portal. After identifying the users entering the portal, the system gives the opportunity to select the type of data provision and to search for the property in question. Before downloading the data service product, customers can make the payment through the payment system of OTP Bank.

TakarNet24 provides customers with the following products:

  • first part of property deed (ownership records), 20 pieces per month free of charge;
  • e-certified copy of the deed;
  • non-authentic copy of the deed;
  • map copy (not certified);
  • monitoring the administration process itself.
