Short description of project:
FÖMI and the National Land Fund Management Organization (NFA) established a consortium to implement the Integrated National Real Property Management System (INIK) project.
The main objective of the project was to provide real-time land registry data for state-owned lands and real estate properties for land management purposes. FÖMI was the organization responsible for land registry services, while NFA managed state-owned land and real estate properties. For the project, FÖMI provided database connections among national assets registries, developed a software solution that uniformly registered state assets and traced the changes in any registry.
A unified land registry database for all land offices was physically operated at FÖMI, land offices had access to their databases via thin-client architecture. To ensure maximum system safety, the archiving procedures were executed at FÖMI’s Satellite Geodetic Observatory (SGO), which is physically separated from FÖMI central offices (FÖMI’s SGO is located at Penc, 40 km from Budapest).
INIK as a pilot project was successfully implemented by the end of 2013.
